Key specs explained for you
Cooling Capacity: 12,000 BTU
This rating indicates the unit can remove 12,000 British Thermal Units of heat per hour. This capacity typically suits medium-sized rooms. You should match this number to your room size to ensure efficient cooling. Smaller spaces may cool too quickly, causing short cycling. Larger areas will struggle to reach the desired temperature. Check your room dimensions before relying on this figure for comfort.
Control Type: Wi-Fi app, voice control
You can manage the unit remotely using the Friedrich Go App on your smartphone. The system also accepts voice commands for hands-free operation. This setup allows you to adjust settings without leaving your seat. You can start cooling before you arrive home. Integration with smart assistants simplifies daily use. This feature adds convenience for users who prefer digital control over physical buttons.
width: 22 inches
The unit is 22 inches wide. This dimension determines the space required in your window or wall opening. You must measure your installation area to ensure a proper fit. Standard window frames often accommodate this width. If your opening is narrower, the unit will not fit. Always compare this measurement against your specific window or wall cutout dimensions before purchasing.
height: 17 inches
The unit stands 17 inches tall. This height affects how it sits in your window sill or wall sleeve. You need sufficient vertical clearance for proper installation and airflow. A taller unit may block more natural light. Ensure your window frame can support this height without structural issues. Compare this measurement with your available vertical space to avoid installation conflicts.
length: 26 inches
The unit extends 26 inches into your room. This depth impacts interior space and furniture placement. You must ensure there is enough clearance behind the unit for airflow. A deeper unit may protrude further into your living area. Measure the distance from your window to nearby furniture. This specification helps you plan your room layout for optimal air circulation and access.

Maintenance is straightforward thanks to the washable air filter. The system includes a check filter alert to remind you when cleaning is needed. This helps you maintain air quality without guessing the schedule. The unit operates quietly, using QuietMaster Technology and heavy-duty insulation on the inner wall. The manufacturer claims this makes it as much as 25 percent quieter than competitor products. This reduction in noise supports undisturbed rest or work.
